Cotton in future farming systems workshop

Join a conversation about the future of data, digital and broadacre agriculture. Held alongside the Cotton Research Conference, this forum has been organised by organised by Ben Trevaskis and Rose Roche of CSIRO, and brings together people working across cotton, cropping and livestock systems in regions where cotton is currently grown, and those looking ahead to what’s next in the North. The forum includes two interactive sessions:

Session 1: Data and digital across regions: Explore how we can better connect data, tools and innovation across regional cropping and livestock systems, and where we should invest next.

Session 2: What’s next for Northern broadacre systems? A strategic discussion on where broadacre agriculture in the NT, northern WA and FNQ is heading, and what needs to happen now to get there. We are aiming for practical discussion, shared priorities and ideas for co-investment.

Many thanks to the Conference Committee who are working hard to make the best conference yet!

Note: There has been a change to the date originally announced at last year’s AGM to avoid a potential accommodation shortage that was likely to be created by the AgQuip field days at Moree.
